Nadia is a graduate of Indiana University, one of the nation's most prestigious harp programs, as well as the University of Michigan, where she earned her graduate degree. She has performed throughout the US, Europe, and Brazil, entertaining audiences at distinguished venues including NYC's Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Biltmore Hotel in Miami, the Kennedy Center, the US Capitol, the State Department, and the White House.

Since moving to D.C., she has performed for notable guests including: First Lady Michelle Obama, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, Vice President Joe Biden, Madeleine Albright, Martha Stewart, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, Michael Douglas, Scott Bakula, Joshua Bell, Chef Jose Andres, Michelle Kwan, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Ms. Pessoa can be heard on the Grammy Award-Winning recording of William Bolcom's Songs of Innocence and Experience, under the direction of Leonard Slatkin ("Best Classical Album" in 2005) and was invited to film an episode of the reality show My Fair Wedding for the WeTV network, featuring celebrity wedding planner David Tutera.
