Amy VanMeter Events

Amy is wonderful. We hired her for my daughter's wedding for Aug. 13, 2011. She had worked with us for over a year because my daughter had moved out to CA right after graduating from college, and was only planning on being in town a month before the wedding. Amy did a wonderful job, getting things ready and in order for us. The day of the wedding was awesome. Amy made sure everything was ready, she set up everything at the reception. The mother in law and myself didn't have to worry about a thing. All we had to do was get ourselves ready and make sure the Bride and Groom were ready. Thank you Amy for all the work you did for us. The wedding was beautiful. I have one more daughter and when she ever gets married Ken and I will definately be calling you. Thank you

Where to begin!? Amy was fabulous in every way; she did such a great job and she did so much more than I anticipated. Being military, I faced a unique challenge of being away on the West Coast and planning a wedding that would occur in Virginia a year later. Amy did wonders with helping me stay on task, choose my vendors, and keeping our budget straight while I was away. I went back east about a month before the big day and it was amazing how much was already done. All I had to worry about was picking up my dress really! Of course, I had some minor things: making the center pieces, etc, but overall I had very little to do. I had friends asking me what they could do to help, but everything was done! Amy's colors really shone the week and day of the wedding. We had a large bridal party: 7 bridesmaids, 7 groomsmen, and of course the flower girl and ring bearer. Somehow Amy had everyone coordinated and acting like we knew what we were doing for the day of, and our rehearsal only took an hour! On the day of, I barely noticed her, yet she was everywhere doing everything. If anything went wrong, I couldn't tell you because she took care of it all flawlessly. She even made my and my husband's dinner plates at the reception and made sure we had drinks all night long. Amy was the greatest decision we made in regard to planning the wedding. Even one of our groomsmen was impressed with her and said he would definitely be hiring a planner whenever he got married- and he isn't even dating anyone or in the mood to say "I do!". Amy, thank you for ALL you did. There is so much more to say but I'll wrap it up here. Our day was PERFECT thanks to you!

Amy does it all! She is very thorough and keeps track of everything. Without her our wedding wouldn't have been at all what it was. She is wonderful. All of my vendors complimented on her organziation to me and our wedding party was grateful for everything she did. She is much more than a day-of coordinator. If you are smart, you will pick Amy as your event planner. She is AMAZING!!!

Amy was fabulous! She was always very attentive and made sure everything was in order. With her plethora of experience, she was able to make sure details that I would have never even thought of were taken care of. She made sure the prewedding preparation was complete well in advance which helped keep all parties involved anxiety to a minimum. The day of, our wedding ran flawlessly. Amy’s assistance allowed my husband and I to truly enjoy our special day without having to worry about the tedious details.

Amy was fabulous. She was not only my day-of-coordinator, she was my month-of-coordinator. She was everywhere all at once. She knew exactly what was going on at all times and was so diplomatic in case a situation arose. She is kind, funny and wants to do everything she can to make your day special. At one point during the reception my mother came to me and said, "at first, I wasn't sure why you needed a coordinator, but I'm so glad Amy is here. She is wonderful!" She is worth every penny ten times over. She responded to all of my emails very quickly and kept me posted on things I didn't even know I needed to know, but I'm glad she did! She made our day seamless and beautiful. Do not hesitate to contact her. She is amazing!

Amy was my wedding coordinator and honestly, I would hate to think of our event without her assistance. From the very start, Amy will work with you, guide you, assist you and most importantly LISTEN to you. It is your day and she goes above and beyond to make sure you feel that way. She has an extremely sharp eye for detail. You can not go wrong if you choose Amy for your special day. Aside from my marrying my husband, having her help was one of the best decisions I've made!
