Bryan really helped set the tone of our reception and the tone he set was FUN! The music he played during dinner was done perfectly: the music was in the background, quiet enough for people to have a conversation without feeling like they are yelling. After dinner he turned up the volume and played a great mix of music that got people dancing. Not only did he remember our music tastes from our first initial meeting, he really noted what our guests enjoyed and adjusted accordingly. I HIGHLY recommend Bryan- he was so easy to work with and got everyone dancing.

I used Bryan George Music Services for my wedding in April 2012 and they did a fantastic job. From the time that I initially reached out to Bryan to the date of the wedding I was consistently impressed by the responsiveness and professionalism. Bryan's associate Adam actually deejayed the event (Bryan was booked with a different event) but I interacted with both of them leading up to the wedding day and again was consistently impressed. I provided very strict instructions around what I did/did not want played and Adam did a really great job working with my specifications. He did a great job of playing to the crowd. I would not hesitate to book with Bryan George again for a future event and highly recommend them to others planning a wedding or any type of event.

Helped us to develp a customized playlist that covered all the bases of what we wanted. Very flexible with the space and schedule and worked well the venue. Lots of fun and got along well with our guests. Highly recommended!

Bryan could not have been easier to work with. I was able to communicate with Bryan frequently via email (my preference) and phone, and he was always responsive and helpful. In the week leading up to the wedding, he followed up on important details and even thought to ask questions that hadn't even occurred to me. At the cocktail hour and ceremony, everything ran smoothly. Bryan was on top of everything and kept the flow of events moving just as we had discussed with nary a hiccup. I was worried about people dancing at the wedding, but as soon as Bryan started the music, EVERYONE was on the dance floor. He absolutely knew how to utilize the songs we had requested and incorporate them with music that everyone would love. I even had guests asking me to get a copy of the playlist because they enjoyed the music so much. I interviewed several DJs before selecting Bryan. All the others sounded phony, didn't listen to what I was saying, and/or charged exhorbitant fees. Bryan was genuine, paid attention to the details, and his cost was exceptionally reasonable. I don't plan on getting married again, but if I did, or had any other reason to hire a DJ, I'd go back to Bryan in a heartbeat. I will definitely go out of my way to recommend him to any friends or colleagues.

Not your typical cheesy wedding DJ. He was professional and not the least bit intrusive. The music sounded great (probably a challenge in a rotunda with marble floors and a high ceiling), and even though we had spoken on the phone the week before the wedding to plan everything, he was flexible enough to accommodate several changes to the schedule at the last moment. The price was also excellent- well below what some of his competitors were asking, and my hard-to-please Marine husband was impressed with his responsiveness when he initially contacted Bryan for a quote. And my planner told us a few weeks before the wedding that even though she had never worked with him before, she knew he was going to be good because he responded to her initial introduction phone call so quickly and professionally- he was the first of all my vendors to return her call. We were all very happy in the end, and would definitely hire him again.

Bryan did a fantastic job at our wedding. He was super accommodating and went out of his way to make sure that everything was just the way we wanted it. My fiance had a special performance planned during our reception and Bryan helped it come off incredibly well. Additionally, Bryan ensured that our slide show went perfectly as well. Very helpful, very friendly, very professional and very good! Bryan asked for our input every step of the way and tested everything out to make sure that it went without a hitch. Beyond this, Bryan really made the songs we selected work brilliantly together and he kept the party moving and shaking! He was incredibly professional and a real pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Bryan and if I never need a DJ for a party or event, I know just who to ask. Thank you Bryan for helping to make our special day a very enjoyable and memorable one.

We just got married on Saturday and Adam from Bryan George Music Services was our DJ – he was amazing! I was really nervous because my husband added some last minute requests to our song list AND we changed my father-daughter song the night before the wedding. Bryan and Adam worked with me to get these last minute changes addressed without a hitch and I was so happy to see it all fall into place. Bryan was great to work with! When we met he listened to our likes/dislikes and helped with suggestions. We created a "play list" for the evening that exactly matched our music style. Bryan has a great personality and strikes a perfect balance during the reception between staying behind the scenes and getting the guests involved.

Bryan George did a FANTASTIC job DJing our wedding, at a very competitive price. He played the music we requested, and music our guests wanted to hear. Whenever I felt a song was playing too long or losing people's attention, I could just catch Bryan's eye across the dance floor and he immediately would change it up. I would absolutely recommend him to friends and strangers alike!

Bryan exceeded all of my expectations for my wedding DJ! He was an ideal announcer for the wedding party entrances with perfect pronunciations. He read the crowd extremely well, played all of my requested songs, and kept everyone dancing the entire night. He was not intrusive at all--would come up to approve timing for the cake cutting/garter toss/etc. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who wants a classy and fun reception. I couldn't have asked for more!!

From the first time my husband and I met with Bryan he impressed us with his professionalism and responsiveness. He was prepared and on time for our initial meeting and came with a thorough packet of information and sample music selections for our ceremony, dinner, and dance reception. He made sure he understood our timeline of events and clarified with me beforehand if he had any questions. Any emails I sent to him were responded to immediately and professionally which is huge in my book. The night of the event he arrived and set up without issue (at least none were brought to my attention) and his equipment worked great and was modern and not incredibly bulky, taking up little space in the room. If we ever need a DJ again we would definitely use Bryan. HIGHLY recommended!

I'm so happy we chose Bryan as our wedding DJ! He did a great job preparing us for what to expect and didn't miss a single detail. Bryan was very personable and professional. When my family approached him the day of about a surprise presentation they wanted to do, he went with it and handled it perfectly! Bryan was truly an excellent wedding DJ. He was professional and responsive during all of our communication prior to the wedding, and executed everything exactly as we had discussed on the night of. We had a non-traditional reception and ceremony, so I wrote out specific instructions for the evening the week before. We then talked through every part of the evening several days before the wedding over the phone. Our conversation left me assured that Bryan understood exactly what I wanted in terms of music for the night. Music was kept at appropriate volumes throughout the wedding, and Bryan was able to gauge the crowd and play songs that got everyone on the dance floor. He stuck to my "must play" and "do not play" list very well. Bryan was sure to check in with me at various points throughout the wedding, and was responsive to the last minute requests and changes I made. All in all, an excellent, professional, and affordable wedding DJ that I would recommend to anyone in the DC area.

Bryan was amazing! He did an excellent job of playing all the music we requested at our wedding. Bryan has excellent equipment and the sound quality of the music was exceptional. He also did an outstanding job of transitioning from one event to the next throughout the wedding. Bryan has excellent time management; the whole day flowed smoothly. Bryan was very flexible and he gives great recommendations for song choice (my husbanded decided to dance with his mom at the last moment and Bryan had songs available). I highly recommend Bryan as a DJ for all events!

My wife and I are very happy to recommend Bryan. He was very helpful in making arrangements, and flexible in changing them as the date approached. We told him that both of our families liked to dance, and he made sure they did! He was very perceptive in reading the mood of the dance floor, and easily kept it packed through the whole night. Many of our guests came to tell us how much fun they had dancing - that they had never been to a wedding that felt like such a celebration. We're grateful to Bryan for enabling that. He is courteous, friendly, and very capable, and I am sure he would be a great choice for any celebration.

Bryan was excellent at our wedding! He was able to work with our budget and was extremely reasonable compared to other DJs and we had a lot of fun dancing!

Bryan George was so easy and pleasant to work with--he was definitely the least stressful vendor that I had to coordinate with before the wedding. We had some unusual song requests (Latin Jazz, an indie folk band from Ohio, and Weird Al Yankovic!), but he either found the songs or made it easy for us to email to him. Honestly, I didn't give the DJ much thought for the wedding planning (too focused on flowers, food, dress, etc.), but it turned out to be the most fun part of the event. I danced almost the entire time and one of the best and most special memories of my wedding was watching my 8 year old nephew play air guitar to Rick Springfield's Jesse's girl! The music and dancing made our night really feel like a party and I was so sad when the last song played. Thanks, Bryan, for all your hard work! I highly recommend you!!

I was planning my wedding from out of state so I had limited time to meet with vendors. For the months leading up to my wedding, I communicated with Bryan only on email yet I was completely confident in his abilities, based on this thorough communication. We spoke on the phone a few days before the wedding and confirmed the timeline, the playlist, and name pronunciation. I met him for the first time when I arrived at our reception and I could not have asked for anything more. With minimal direction, he kept me abreast of the timeline and was extremely patient with me ... and the chaos that occurs during a wedding. Both my husband and I recommend Bryan and would be happy to speak with anyone considering him!

Bryan was recommended to us from by a cousin, and he was great to work with! He played everything we wanted him to play and then put his own touch on it. He was easily contacted, flexible, and non invasive during our wedding. It was very nice to be able to talk to him over the phone and discuss what we wanted instead of having to make time to meet face to face in the days leading up to the wedding. Overall I was extremely happy with Bryan as our DJ and I would recommend him to anyone.

Bryan is an excellent DJ...my dance floor was packed all night long!!! He played the right mix of music and played several Irish songs as requested to keep the dancing going all night long. He is very reasonably priced and helped provide for a very memorable event!
