I LOVED working with Cotton! She is a wonderful, warm, creative person, and her cakes are amazing! Also, VERY affordable, and she is very flexible. Emails and phone calls were always answered in a timely fashion. Although I loved working with Cotton, my only complaint is that the woman who did the intake form during our tasting (an older lady, possibly a family member who was helping out as it is a very small business), didn't get some of our details right, and also it was frustrating to have to try and explain details that I had already worked out and confirmed with Cotton over email and telephone prior to meeting with her for the tasting. The errors later got corrected, but I felt that it detracted from her professionalism. The cakes were delivered to the venue on time, they were delicious and beautiful.

The wedding cake we have ordered was delivered damaged. The owner who delivered the cake promised to replace it and redeliver to us NEVER showed up. It was hugely upsetting to us that we did not end up with a cake for our reception. It is not professional at all, and they did not even bother to call us with an explanation. We are very very disappointed and will advise people to think twice about ordering your wedding cake with them.

My cake was absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately I didn't get to taste much of it (smile) I remember about 1 month before the wedding speaking directly to Ms Cotton and upon confirming my colors with her she asked me if I would just dit back and allow her to do my cake. She knew I wanted it "topsy-turby" and my colors were aqua, silver and white. Wow when we walked in and saw the cake, my husband (who never really looks at dainty things) said "wow baby, that's a beautiful cake" I knew right then and there that Ms Cotton had "done the dang thing" Blessing to her for stepping in when I thought all was lost for me. We worked with Cotton as part of a wedding package, so I don't know much about her pricing, other then assuming that it was reasonable in order to be selected for the package. We met with Cotton twice- both time experiencing some hiccups in the scheduling, but we foun Cotton to be very accommodating about re-scheduling. The decoration was not quite what I had expected, but the cake was so delicious that I didn't care. We went with the Orange Julius flavor with the marshmallow frosting- I ate the leftovers for breakfast for a week. We also got a dessert bar from Cotton as part of the package and found it to be equally as delicious as the cake. All in all, I hope to use Cotton again for birthdays and other events.

I was glad I found Cotton! She was the only baker that truly wanted to understand what I had envisioned for my dream wedding cake. She took detailed notes during our first meeting. She has a huge list of cake flavors, which was the reason I originally contacted her, all of the flavors I tried melted in my mouth. We did have some trouble with communication at various times leading up to the wedding. I believe that most of them were the result of her moving from a home based business to her new store front. I can't wait to order my next cake from Cotton or dig into the free anniversary layer that is in the freezer.

Cotton is absolutely amazing at making wedding cakes!!! I gave her a picture and described what I wanted and she made it exactly how I had invisioned it. I highly recommend her to everyone.

Cotton has the most delicious cakes, beautiful decorating techniques, and the most reasonable prices in the area. She created both our rehersal dinner cake and wedding cake. All our guests raved about the cakes and one even said it was the best cake she had ever had in her life. Cotton was very easy to work with. She perfectly executed the design of the cake in the way we had described it and it looked even better than we had imagined. (Her cakes look better in person than they do in the photographs on her website.) She was very flexible with allowing us to move our delivery time up earlier than what we agreed to on the contract and add flowers at the last minute. And though she doesn't widely advertise this, her cakes have been featured on the show "Whose Wedding Is It Anyway" twice that I know of. I could not recommend Cotton's cakes more highly. Try the lemon cake and the sweet potato cake; you won't be disappointed.
