Patrick and I could not have asked for a better photography team for our wedding! We ABSOLUTELY LOVED Mindy and Joriana. We met with them about 10 months before our wedding and were in constant communication until our big day and even after. After the first time we met with them, we basically fell in love with them. We just felt like they knew us! They totally wowed us with their portfolio at our first meeting, their photojournalistic style was exactly what we were looking for!Included in our package with Ever After Visuals was an engagement session. We did this at their location, and it was so awesome! We felt like we were on a date, but we were having our picture taken at the same time!Then came time for the wedding planning. Mindy and Joriana sent us an awesome wedding planner, that I used when meeting with other vendors. I was able to keep all of our wedding documents organized, and it helped my mom know who to contact on the day of our wedding in case something went wrong! Mindy and Joriana went above and beyond. They even sent a little gift to my bridesmaids right before the wedding, which they really sincerely appreciated :). On our wedding day, Mindy and Joriana were at our site before I got there. They were totally ready and knew exactly the shots they wanted to capture, and boy when we saw them we were blown away! They captured images of our day, that will help us to remember it our whole lives! I am more than impressed with our images. We are working on our album now, and their design was out of this world! They also made us a slideshow montage of our day, and every time I watch it I still cry!I recommend Mindy and Joriana to anyone I know who is getting married! I cannot say enough good things about them! They are AWESOME, and we can't wait until the next time we get to work with them!

Pure perfection. Best vendor I have ever worked with. They are so amazing. They will produce beautiful art if you let them. Def for brides who are looking for more than standard wedding pictures of people at a dinner table or in front of a random back drop. And the couth booth was a huge hit at the wedding.

Mindy and Jorianna were such a pleasure to work with. They creatively captured all the emotions of our wedding day. From the moment we met them, they felt like family! They picked up such amazing detail in such a nonunintrusive way. The quality of their images were gorgeous and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during our couples photos. Our photo album was ready to be reviewed about one month after our wedding and it told the story of our wedding in a way that makes us cry every time we view it! Friends of ours commented that they wanted to get married again just to have Mindy and Jorianna photograph them! We plan on using them for our pregnancy shots and baby shots in the future!

It has been almost a year since my husband and I got married, but I can not say enough awesome things about Mindy and Joriana! From day one, they were so helpful and accommodating. Whenever I had questions about anything, I could send an email and I would have a response back within an hour. The day of the wedding, Mindy and Joriana came early, prepared everything for the pictures, and were ready to take lots of photos of our day! When it came time to look at all of our wedding pictures, Mindy and Joriana prepared an awesome slide show and showed us all of the pictures they had taken! (over 1500!) They were patient, helpful and flexible when it came time to design our wedding album and the parent albums we had purchased. I don't think we could have found better photographers to share our special day with us! I would recommend Ever After Visuals to anyone who wants amazing photographers who take amazing pictures!

Mindy and Joriana are fun and easy to work with, and they captured a lot of great images for us. We were very pleased not only with the photos they took for us, but also with the cooperative, friendly and professional way in which they operated.We ordered Collection Three from their set of options, which included several items that we have detailed below. We started with an engagement shoot, which we did on site in Georgetown, where we got engaged. We went into the engagement shoot a bit nervous about how awkward it might be to pose for photos in a somewhat public place, but Mindy and Joriana did a great job of making us feel comfortable, and they chose poses and locations that made for excellent pictures. We were very happy with the results of the engagement shoot, both in terms of the pictures and the actual experience itself.Also included in Collection Three was a slideshow of photos from the engagement shoot, which was projected on a screen during dinner at our wedding reception. This was a nice touch that we and our guests really enjoyed. (For those who might be concerned, the set-up and take-down of the projection equipment did not disrupt the reception at all.)Collection Three included 8 hours of time with Mindy and Joriana on the day of the wedding, which was plenty of time for them to photograph the pre-ceremony preparations, the ceremony itself, and the reception. Their photos were excellent – when Mindy and Joriana say they specialize in capturing people’s emotions at individual moments in time, they mean it!As part of Collection Three, we also selected an option to have Mindy and Joriana do an audio-video recording of our vows and the reception speeches. This essentially eliminated the need to hire a separate videographer. We did have a friend film the full ceremony and our first dance separately, but Mindy and Joriana captured the key moments on film and incorporated them into a montage video with pictures and music that came out very nicely.After the wedding, Mindy and Joriana set to work on selecting the best of the nearly 1,800 photos they took and organizing them into an album. (Collection Three included a 30-page album – note that the album design they present to you is likely to include much more than 30 pages, but you are free to make cuts as needed in the editing process.) We really liked Mindy and Joriana’s layout for the album, and although we did not keep all the pages that they designed in order to keep the price within our budget, we did buy a few extra pages to keep in the photos and pages that we liked the most. We’ve heard of album editing taking more than a year, but our editing went quickly and easily – our wedding was almost exactly six months ago, and we’ve just received our album. It looks great, and we can’t wait to show it off!

Highly recommend Ever After Visuals! Let me start by saying that your photographer is the most important vendor you select. Your cake will be eaten, the flowers will die, the music will be forgotten, but your photos you will cherish FOREVER. We met with Mindy and Joriana before the wedding and instantly clicked with them. They are professional, warm, friendly and funny. We chose them over other photographers for both their personality and the beautiful work we saw at their studio. I've never been one for having my picture taken so we wanted someone who would make us feel comfortable behind the camera. We had a taste of their style when we had our engagement session with Mindy & Joriana. They did an amazing job and we couldnt be happier with the way our pictures turned out. They were extremely flexible in sight location and also dealing with our crazy labrador who we wanted in some of the shots. :)The wedding was great! We hardly knew they were present and their pictures told a beautiful story of how our wedding day unfolded. They capture your true emotion and tell a story that is genuine and beautiful. We got married at the Barns at Wolf trap which tends to be dark in some areas and they even brought two extra ladies to help with the lighting for some of the shots.Mindy and Joriana are a great team! The pictures they took were amazing and the only problem was trying to select which ones we liked best out of ALL the pictures they took. I would recommend Ever After Visuals without hesitation. I have always been shy and felt very uneasy in front of the camera and I am always the first one to flee if some over-enthusiastic friends point their cameras in my general direction. But like all other brides out there, I would love to have professional photographers in my wedding who can capture all the emotions and all the important people in my life on my big day and I have also been secretly drooling over other people's pretty wedding pictures. After interviewing 8+ photographers and plenty of budgeting exercises, I hired Mindy & Joriana. To be honest, professional wedding photography can be pricey but it's really worth it. Mindy & Joriana are down-to-earth, very helpful, very genuine and extremely professional and responsive in their communications. Their package includes an engagement session which we did at our undergrad college (where we first met). I was really nervous beforehand but the two quickly eased my worries and before we knew it, my hubby and I were enjoying a nice date out (and we got tons of pretty pictures out of it). Mindy was also very helpful when it comes to wedding planning. I did not have a wedding planner and was pretty much clueless when it came to wedding planning. But Mindy gave me more than enough information (a big planner) right after I hired them as our photographers. Throughout the planning process, I consulted with Mindy whenever I had questions or whenever I felt stuck or felt stressed out, and she has gone over and beyond to help me numerous times, especially when it comes to nailing down the final schedule & details of the big day. When it comes to my big day, they went over everything in great details beforehand and they scouted my wedding site to get familiarized with the place and to come up with cool ideas for shooting. I had my dream wedding, with the perfect man and perfect people in my ceremony and reception, and Mindy & joriana's photojournalistic approach and skills allow them to capture the mood and emotions of the day accurately. Everytime I look at my wedding pictures, I find myself going through all the emotions of my big day again and I simply can't help crying some happy tears -- really, all the nice things I could say about Mindy & Joriana can fill up pages. I just want to say that I feel really blessed to have them there on my big day.The last thing I wanted to mention is that even though Joriana is very young, her photography skill is top-notched and she has some of the coolest ideas and is responsible for some of my favorite images. She is not only a great photographer but with time, I can see her evolving into a true artist =)

I originally contacted Mindy and Joriana because they were a team of two, and I really liked that idea. Turns out - I was spot on. They were a joy to work with, and the images from our engagement shoot and our wedding were simply amazing. I've never seen photos like these before, and everyone that has seen them has raved about how wonderful they are. They are, quite frankly, artists who love what they do, and it shows through in their work. Besides giving us stunning images, they were so wonderful to be around. I'd been in a bunch of weddings before where the photographers had been a little bossy, or a little too in-your-face, or even barking orders at the wedding party. Mindy and Joriana were the opposite. They still got every shot that I really wanted to have, but all the wedding party and guests had only good things to say about them. Our wedding album is beautiful, and very "us". M and J had about 800 different types of albums that we could have chosen from, and everyone has commented on how the album just fits us - it's in our wedding colors, and it's really fun to flip through. The nice things I could say about them could fill pages. Bottom line - they are worth every penny and will give you images that you can't stop looking at!

I think I have started this review at least a hundred times and always fail to capture the impact Mindy and Joriana had on my wedding experience. Not just the photography- the experience was and the images are amazing- but the overall start to finish and beyond impact. Our immediate impression of M&J was one of comfort and ease. They are relaxed and approachable, like old friends. We instantly clicked which is so important when selecting a photographer; their purpose is to capture your experience, emotion and event so that you have it for your “ever after”. They are all about you and what is important to you. Having a good personal connection lets them really get to know you so they can capture the images that will generate an emotional reaction 5, 15, 30 years later when you look back at your photos/album/images. Weddings in general are overwhelming. Mindy and Jori know their profession and the wedding “business” which is important when YOU need a sanity check! On several occasions, Mindy helped me break it down, sort it out and make it manageable when faced with challenges, big and small. Their work is amazing. I was looking for "traditional with a twist"- I didn’t know that at the time but looking back that is exactly what I wanted! I wanted interesting, fun and unique images from a rather traditional wedding. They did not disappoint!! The “first look” concept is brilliant. The technical skills M&J bring to your images make you say “WOW, I didn’t know I could look like that!!” or, “How did you do that??” Mindy just smiles with a little wink- she’s got you covered. Weddings are a one-time deal, there are no do-overs or take backs. Doing it right and capturing the experience the first time and forever is of utmost importance. Mindy and Jori just get “it” they instinctively know what is important, they listen, provide stellar guidance and are truly good people, amazingly talented and professional. They were simply the best choice for our wedding

Although it may seem to be taking the easy way out by giving Mindy and J a perfect 5 overall rating, it couldn't be more deserved. From the moment that my and my wife met with them, we knew that they were the perfect duo to document our wedding and the days leading up to it. Our engagement shoot produced pictures that will hang on our walls forever. They created an atmosphere that produced shots that were candid, intimate, and completely natural. They day of the wedding, they once again showed just how good their "A" game is. They artfully captured the whole day and gave us the gift of an album that will keep the day in our memories perfectly. If I could Have rated them higher, I would have. We were one of those couples that underestimated the significance of a photographer. Neither of us particularly likes posing for pictures and a photographer was one of those vendors we really didn’t know where to begin in out our selection process. I had gone to the wedding shows and was just overwhelmed by the number of photographers that are out there. I had signed up to be contacted by a few but couldn’t imagine how we were going to weed through all the options and make a selection. So I started by talking to a few on the phone and didn’t feel like I was receiving any more personal service than I had at the overcrowded wedding shows. I wanted someone we would like and who was interested in us. In a moment of frustration I vented to the catering manager at our reception venue and she didn’t hesitate in handing my Mindy & J’s card. She explained that this pair was fantastic to work with and their finished product couldn’t be more impressive. Looking back, they are the best decision we made.From my first phone call with Mindy, I realized I had found a professional who loved her craft and was intent on putting the bride and groom first. Not long after that initial call, my fiancĂ© and I went out to meet the mother and daughter pair. My fiancĂ©, who previously claimed he had no opinions to offer other than the tux and honeymoon – walked out of that hour meeting and emphatically said to me, we’re done; that’s who I want. I hadn’t even had a chance to say that I was thinking the same thing! It was one of the easiest decisions we made in the entire planning process. With all of Mindy and J’s packages you get a free engagement session. We thought we would be really uncomfortable at the session and in fact, were somewhat dreading it. We’re not the ‘pose and smile’ type pair. Again, we were completely wrong. Not only did they suggest a unique venue which suited us perfectly – but they graciously let us bring along my future step-daughter. We wanted her to feel a part of the wedding planning and again, Mindy & J were intent on putting our desires first. We actually had a great time and the photos are more beautiful that I ever could have hoped for. They captured the two of us as a couple and then the three of us as a future family. In the days leading up to the wedding and the day of the wedding - Mindy & J were the one vendor I never had a worry about. We trusted them completely and they didn’t disappoint us. Even when rain clouds moved in and our outdoor shots moved indoors – they showed creativity that I could have never anticipated. Whether it was in phone conversations or while taking our pictures, Mindy and J put us at ease at every opportunity. The result was incredible moments that are now captured forever and we are so very grateful. They captured moments that I treasured that day and ones that I completely missed. We couldn’t give them any higher of a rating. We love our album, candid shots and the formals. But most of all, we loved dealing with them.

Mindy and Joriana played such a huge part in making our wedding memorable. They were wonderful to work with, and their work is nothing short of stunning. We consider Mindy and Joriana more than our wedding photographers...they're our friends, and we will likely turn to them for future photography needs!

Mindy and Joriana did a fantastic job at our wedding! Our photographers were the best part of our wedding. They not only worked with our schedule but came through for us when the weather didnt. They were very flexible and catered to our needs. We didnt even notice their presence during the ceremony or reception yet they caught every moment. They did all of the work choosing the photos and puttig together the album-which was definitely an arduous task. Everyone who saw our wedding photos told us that they were the best that they had ever seen. Classy yet artistic.Definitely a must hire!!

My father gave me the option to take the money for the wedding and elope or have the wedding. If I had to choose all over again I would still choose to have the wedding. One thing that made my wedding so spectacular was the services that Mindy and Joriana provided to us as our wedding photographers. Not only were the pictures outstanding, but they truly captured the love and happiness that we shared on our wedding day. Every day that I look at my coffee table book I can relive my wedding day as it was just yesterday. Each picture captures our true love for one another and tells the story of our wedding day. Not only were we overly impressed with their work, but everyone who looks at our wedding books is just amazed and stunned with the quality of work. Mindy and Jorianna are a great team to work with. They took the time to walk us through everything we needed to think about for the photography we needed for our wedding. They offer several packages, so they can fit a lot of people's price ranges. They are very easy to work with and are there as a resource along the way.We had both an engagement shoot and a bridal prior to the wedding, both of which came out beautifully. They love what they do and it is evident in working with them.The day of our wedding they were very prompt and made sure that our family, friends, and special moments were captured. Having two photographers definitely helps capture more moments than have just one.We could go on about how great they are to work with - bottom line is they are fantastic. We would highly recommend them to anyone, even if its just a portrait shoot.

Mindy and Joriana consistently provide excellent work. So good in fact, that we chose our wedding date based on their availability. I am looking forward to our trash the dress session in beautiful Jamaica! I have been to many weddings where guests complained that the photographer was in the way and they couldn't see crucial parts of the ceremony or reception. Even with two shooters, none of our guests had that complaint. I highly recommend using Ever After Visuals.
