In my opinion Holly is the absolute best florist in the area. Each time we met with a new vendor and they asked us who our florist was, they always responded with “Holly is the best”. She was able to take my thoughts and turn them into the perfect flower arrangements. I also loved her because she knew what she was talking about and would voice her opinion if she thought mine or my mom’s ideas wouldn’t turn out the way she thought we envisioned it. We needed that certainty and I loved that about her! I trusted her completely when she emailed me a week before the wedding and said that she thought we should add another muted color to the arrangements to make the flowers look more cohesive. My jaw dropped to the floor when the flowers arrived the day of the wedding. They turned out more beautiful and more unique looking than anything I had ever imagined. So many of my guests commented on the gorgeous flowers and submerged blossom and floating candles that she used for the ceremony. She is definitely worth the money.

Holly's flowers and arrangements surpassed my expectations. The flowers used were of top quality and the arrangements and bouquets were the most beautiful I had ever seen - very original and very classy. They were abundant, lush and fresh - you truly get value for what you pay. Her work was one of the main highlights of the wedding; everyone commented on the flowers. Even the smaller arrangements for the smaller bar or side tables looked as though a tremendous amount of thought and effort had been put into them. I also found Holly to be very communicative and flexible, and her suggestions and advice throughout the process were invaluable. We looked at many wedding florists in the DC/VA/MD area, and Holly's arrangements, friendliness and professionalism surpassed all of the others by far.

Holly and her staff were incredible! Friendly, professional, super creative... you can definitely tell they love brides and weddings! Holly is a very, very talented designer (arguably the best in the D.C. area), and it showed. My wedding flowers were so special, they took my breath away. I even had my bridal bouquet professionally pressed and preserved... I just couldn't bear to part with it. Hire her!

Holly's floral designs were absolutely stunning. From the boutonnieres to the centerpieces to the bouquet, everything was gorgeous - and impeccably styled. Holly's extensive knowledge of flowers - coupled with her boundless creativity - make for an engaging consultation. And, the end result is exactly as she describes and beyond. For my wedding, we talked with Holly about sprucing up the ceremony space and using larger arrangements in wooden crates with flowers and apples, and while I wasn't exactly sure what would arrive on the day of the wedding, I trusted Holly's vision and they were beautiful! What's great about Holly is her passion for her work -- and it shows in her exquisite designs. She really excels in her use of unique combinations of materials - for example, for my bouquet, Holly used a combination of flowers, scabiosa pods and blue thistle, and it looked amazing.And, to top it all off, Holly is a sweet person with a great personality. She's very easy to work with and she is a truly creative and professional businesswoman. I highly recommend Holly and would love to work with her again!

Holly and her team are AMAZING. I had an unusual request to add fruits and vegetables to my bouquet (I'm a nutritionist) and she went above and beyond. She pulled from her vast knowledge of plants to also find foliage that looked like produce and make it cohesive with the color scheme and requested flowers.

Holly was amazing! The flowers that she provided for my wedding were beyond anything that I could imagine. They set the tone perfectly for my ceremony and reception. Holly was wonderful to work with and I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding in the Washington, DC area!

I used Holly's Petals To Go program for my Friday wedding and I couldn't have been more pleased! I met with Holly to discuss the look and feel of the wedding at a consultation and we picked out all of the flowers for the bouquets and boutonnieres. Because I wasn't looking for a bunch of flower arrangements, just a few but a fabulous few, this was a wonderful solution for us! Holly does amazing work and everything she creates is beautiful, total eye candy I tell ya! Holly also let me add in 8 centerpiece arrangements just a couple of weeks before the wedding. Our wedding was at the beginning of October which is an extremely busy time for wedding vendors, but Holly was happy to work with me and added the extra flowers and even called a few times to make suggestions on flowers we hadn't included originally to make it all a cohesive design. She is a true professional and an artist and I would have gone with anything she suggested, if you've looked at her bouquets online you'll know why I say that. The program does not include delivery and set up, but that was ok with us. We had a friend and the Day-Of Coordinator pick up the flowers and there were no problems. I also had my bouquet pressed and it's on my wall at home where I get to enjoy it every day. Thank you for everything Holly!!!

Holly and her team are absolutely amazing. Since I knew very little about flowers (and am not the most creative person), I told Holly a little bit about what I wanted for my wedding day and said I would leave the rest up to her. What she created amazed me. The flowers I got for my wedding were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. She was able to capture my vision and her flowers blew me away. And all of my guests went on and on about the arrangements and how beautiful they were. Holly might be a little bit more expensive then some of the other florists in the area- but the cost is well justified. If you choose Holly you will not be disappointed- her creativity astounding and her passion for what she does is obvious.

Our flowers from Holly were beautiful! She responded quickly to emails and dropped them off on time. We got such compliments on them and they were a beautiful touch to the day!

Holly Heider Chapple and her staff added the beautiful touch of exquisite and varied fall flowers to our daughter's wedding in late September at Whitehall Manor! Everyone has commented on how lovely the flowers were - even down to the arrangement of flowers spiraling down the wedding cake. Holly was great to work with and helped us smooth over an oversight I made in the initial order, working with us to make it perfect for Meg and Greg. Each arrangement was original and unique in the choice of flowers and adornments used. Holly's artistic skill and her staff's efficiency and professionalisn on that day made for a fantastic experience for us. Holly even kept in mind the groom's distaste for the BRIGHT ORANGE color and created a superb blend of colors to produce a perfect "fall" feeling. Thank you, Holly and all!

Holly was so much fun to work with. She was able to take my ideas and vision and create the most amazing arrangements. She is a true artist! I especially appreciate that she takes the time to review flowers with you to see what you like and what you don't like, particularly for people like me who are indecisive and think all flowers are pretty.

We have so many great things to say about Holly, but I will try to keep it manageable and organized. I want to start with her services at a florist, but I would be better off calling it a performance because what Holly did was truly art. If there was a Floral Mensa, Holly would be the President. The ceremony (with the most unbelievable chuppah you have ever seen) and reception were both beyond our wildest imagination. The room looked absolutely perfect and everyone, and our artistic friends in particular, are still raving about how beautiful the flowers, centerpieces, chuppah, and absolutely everything looked. From the purses to the boutonnieres to the homemade concrete pots and more, it was an absolute masterpiece. I never thought I would care about flowers until I saw Holly's work, which is always inspired, outside the box, and beautiful at the same time. Now, on a more personal note, we are so lucky to have found Holly. She is not only a greenhouse genius (trademarking that phrase by the way), she is one of the warmest and best people that we not only had the pleasure of working with, but ever coming across. We cannot thank Holly enough for everything she did for our wedding. Holly is not just a florist to us... She was part florist, part wedding planner, and part mom to us. I don't know if my mom or Holly cried more at the ceremony. I am confident in saying that I know our relationship with Holly will not end here. She has already been hired to perform services for Ethan's work, based upon his raving recommendations. Holly Chapple is a genius when it comes to flowers. After seeing her blog and pictures of her work, I knew I had to work with her, even though I didn't know much about flowers and at times wasn't quite convinced I knew exactly what I wanted. Holly was patient, listened to what I liked and disliked, and helped me decide what the vision would ultimately be for the arrangements. I had no doubt that she would be able to deliver. When she showed up on the wedding day and presented me with my bouquet, I was in tears. And then, after seeing the arrangements at the church and the reception, I was totally blown away. She created much more than I had hoped for, and I will always remember the flowers from the wedding because of her. Thank you Holly!

OMG! My decision to use Holly for our flowers was the best decision I made for the wedding! She was extremely accommodating and has a unique and rare talent of getting inside your head and making your vision become reality! When the flowers were delivered to my room, I was in shock. They were even more beautiful than I had imagined they would be! Everyone at the wedding agreed; with all the compliments that were shared! Great cost and unbelievable value....I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely the most perfect color combinations and variety of flowers I have ever seen at any wedding! Totally made the room "come alive".Very professional, yet very personable. My daughter didn't know exactly what she wanted, but had an image in her mind...just by chatting with Holly for a short while, Holly was able to choose just the right flowers for all the "parts" of the wedding day. I (the mom!) am very hard to please, and I am very picky, but the flowers for this utmost important day in my daughter's life were very perfect. On a quick side note, it was 105 degrees the day of the wedding, and the ceremony was outside (!), but the flowers held up beautifully. Quite a feat in itself!

I loved Holly's flowers even before I really knew who she was! When working with my planners, Kelly and Maria of Ritzy Bee, I showed them a few pictures of bouquets I liked and a photo shoot with purple and red flowers. Kelly spotted that I was drawn to Holly's work and recommended her. Holly's work was amazing! I was not ever sure what I wanted for the flowers, because I don't have a huge knowledge of flowers. Holly somehow represented my style perfectly. The black dahlias she used in my bouquet were out of this world! I now have a new favorite flower thanks to Holly! Everything was so pretty and unique and fit perfectly with what we were going for! Holly's work is spectacular and I am so, so happy we went with her! If I could somehow work with her again, I definitely would!

We asked Holly to do the bouquets and flowers for the bridal party, parents, and ceremony. They were phenomenal! They matched our theme and the feel of our wedding perfectly. I wish we could keep them forever. They were perfect quality and lasted through our entire wedding and for days after. They stayed together all night and I was beside myself with the soft, elegant look of the flowers. They made the photos even more phenomenal that they could have been otherwise. She was prompt, available for changes and to answer questions and she did all she could to make our flowers unique for our day.
