Kenneth C. Knapp

Father Kenneth officiated our wedding this past Saturday and it was truly wonderful. He took the time to get to know us before the wedding and made sure we "clicked" before agreeing to officiate, which I think was important to ensuring that the ceremony felt personal and authentic. He is a very nice man, very flexible and extremely easy to work with. We really enjoyed getting to know him and are so happy he was our officiant on our special day.

Rev Knapp was a pleasure to work with. He was exactly what my husband and I needed. We wanted a simple, catholic infused wedding ceremony and he was able to offer us just that. It flowed beautifully! He even gave us a blessing over dinner. Rev Knapp is experienced, professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend him to any of our friends.

Our officiant was GREAT! It was important to us to have someone marry us that was special... and Kenneth is special. We met with two officiants and as soon as we sat down and talked with Kenneth for 2 minutes - I knew he would be the one to marry us. His words were so heartfelt and charming. I didn't want a 5 minute ceremony and I didn't want an hour long ceremony. I wanted it to be intimate and romantic. Kenneth did just that. EVERYONE at the wedding commented on how sweet his words were and everyone kept saying they felt like he really knew my husband and me as a couple. He made our day all the more special and we will always cherish it. Our photographer even asked for his contact information because she said it was one of the best weddings she had been to! :)

Ken was tremendous. His energy, compassion and enthusiasm made our ceremony so touching and memorable. He took time to get to know both of us and ensured that our personalities and beliefs were reflected in the ceremony. He helped us choose readings, prayers, and vows that best suited us and that resonated with our parents, families, and friends. His style during the ceremony itself struck just the right balance of solemnity and infectious happiness that fit us perfectly. He also was kind enough to have his final meeting with us several weeks earlier than normal, since we were both traveling for work in the weeks prior to the wedding. We really appreciated his flexibility, even though he was packed with weddings that month. We highly recommend him to anyone!

Thank you SO much for an amazing ceremony. It was absolutely perfect and exactly how Kevin and I imagined our ceremony to be. Everything that you said really made the moment even more special and fitted us perfectly. Both our parents loved the ceremony. I cannot tell you how many people came up to us after to say how much they enjoyed everything you said. I cannot believe how lucky we were to have everything go off with out a hitch and having you there surely ensured it! We will never forget our wedding day and feel so blessed to have had you as our officiant!!

We met with a few officiants and knew we had to go with Ken Knapp. He is very sociable and put everyone at ease. He did a great job providing us with guidance as we planned our ceremony and allowed us to personalize it so it was perfect for us. Ken Knapp has done so many weddings that he was familiar with our venue, which made the planning even easier. With that being said, he did assure us that our wedding would be the only one for that weekend (which made me feel better that he was not overwhelming himself and would not be mixing up the details of our wedding with others)! He was a calming force on the day of the wedding and was very organized. I highly recommend meeting with him if you are looking for an officiant!

When Derek and I were looking for an officiant we weren't really sure what we were looking for and set up appointments to meet with four different officiants. Ken was by the one we felt most comfortable with by far. He was serious yet still very personably, warm, and easy going. He meet with us two additional times after we hired him to go over all the details of how the ceremony would unfold and after the final meeting emailed us everything to ensure he had it correct. The day of the wedding was perfect, and we had several friends and family members comment on what an outstanding job Ken did. I even had two co-workers tell me today how much they enjoyed our ceremony while we were looking over pictures. You will not be disappointed with Ken!

You cannot ask for a better officiant than Ken. My husband and I are lapsed Catholics and Ken is a former priest, so the match was perfect! He has developed ceremony material that you can customize as much or as little as you like. Ken was very flexible in accommodating our request for a unity candle lighting and the modification of the language for our vows. He is very organized, calm, and kind, which inspires confidence in a nervous bride. Even though it poured and the traffic to our Virginian countryside location was inexplicably horrible on our wedding day, Ken arrived on site on time and in good cheer. He has a great sense of humor, which he was able to maintain even when a guest stole his umbrella! His homily was beautiful and touching. Several of our guests thought that Ken was an old family friend because the ceremony and Ken's comments seemed to "fit" us so well. We highly recommend Ken as a wedding officiant.

We did a lot of searching for someone to officiate out wedding ceremony because we are an international couple, one from the USA and one from Brazil. We thought it would be impossible to find someone who could perform a ceremony that embraced both languages and cultures, but then miraculously we found Ken. From our first meeting we knew he would be perfect for us. He's very pleasant and easy to work with, and incredibly flexible in letting us customize our wedding ceremony just the way we wanted it. On top of all this, his ability to speak both Portuguese and English was simply incredible for us as he was able to make all of our guests feel included in our ceremony. It really could not have gone any better, and I can honestly say that we could not have found a better person to perform our wedding ceremony than Ken Knapp. I'd recommend him highly, especially if you are a couple like us who come from Brazilian and American backgrounds and have guests from both countries attending your wedding. Nobody will be left out if you choose Ken to officiate for you.

Ken was a pleasure to work with. We wanted to create a personalized wedding, and he took the time to meet with us throughout the process. My family is Catholic, my husband's family did not belong to a religion, and our guests had diverse backgrounds, so he helped us shape the event so that it would touch the hearts of all. My parents raved that he was the best officiant that they have seen, and they enjoyed talking to him after the ceremony. Ken has a very warm personality, takes the time to learn about the couple during the planning process, is highly responsive and professional. The only thing to keep in mind is that he does not attend rehearsals, which made us a little nervous leading up to the wedding. However, we met to go over the details of the ceremony two weeks before the rehearsal, and the day-of events went off without a hitch.

Ken made our ceremony very special and very personal. He was great to meet with and we felt very comfortable with him. We got so many compliments on how lovely the service was, so much of it had to do with Ken. I HIGHLY recommend. Most importantly, it was exactly what we wanted!

Reverend Knapp is a joy to work with. He is a kind and genuine person who truly has a passion for what he does and makes every effort to ensure that your wedding ceremony is individualized to your tastes and personalities. He was instrumental in helping us plan as well as making things run smoothly on the day of. He was a calming presence amid some chaos pre-ceremony and a warm and personal officiant. I would highly recommend Rev. Knapp.

Ken was wonderful to work with. He listened carefully to our requests/concerns and how we wanted our ceremony to flow. He supplied us with the tools we needed to build a great ceremony and practiced everything with us. The ceremony was well-paced and everyone seemed to enjoy the message.
