Knife and Fork Catering was the best vendor I've ever worked with! Dalia was not only our caterer, she was our day of wedding planner. When my husband and I sat down with her to interview before selecting a caterer, she assured our nerves with her professionalism. We meet with her several times before the wedding and every time it was like planning our wedding with family. On the day of the wedding, Dalia was the reason why the wedding went so smoothly. She coordinated the entire ceremony, made sure everyone was in the right place, and went off without a hitch. The reception set up was absolutely beautiful. The table arrangments, plates, and china was perfect. Everyone commented on how beautiful everything looked. And then there was the food. The food was amazing. Guests were raving about how good their salad was with the kiwi vingearette and cheva. The salmon and chicken were also favorites. Everything about the lay out and preparation and service was spot on. The reception was flawless thanks to Dalia and her team. I highly recommend her to any bride looking for professionalism and great service.

Signing a contract with Knife and Fork was one of the best decisions of my wedding planning process. We heard rave reviews of the food and the berry bar was a hit! Dalia and her crew made the day very special & were even able to accommodate the rowdiest guests. We felt confident that everything would go as planned at our reception and it turned out better than we ever imagined!

Knife and Fork did an absolutely amazing job with catering our wedding. I heard rave reviews about all the hor' devours and their bar service was great. Their dessert bar was such a hit and if you go with them, definitely try out their berry bar. It is delicious. Dalia is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is warm, funny, and just fabulous at what she does.

Knife and Fork caterers provided professional services for all of our catering needs. Dalia and her staff were most attentive to detail, very punctual in all aspects of serving (from Welcome cocktail hour, formal sit-down dinner, and dessert buffet). The entire event was well coordinated and transitions from one venue to another were seamless. The quality of the food was superb. We received rave reviews from all in attendance about the fantastic dessert buffet. Thanks for providing a memorable event that our daughter and her husband will cherish for many years.

Minda is absolutly FANTASTIC. She not only assisted in the catering and food, but in the smallest details of planning and organized the day so all the vendors were where they needed to be without anyone being worried.

Knife and Fork catered my wedding, but I give Minda Metz ALL the credit for the event. She was the sole reason we contracted K and F in the first place (after speaking with her the first time I immediately knew I was dealing with the seasoned veteran of all things wedding) and she exceeded every single one of our expectations over and over again. The personal touches she added to our event, not to mention the care and consideration she showed me as the bride, made my wedding the most beautiful day of my life. (Clearly from the other reviews posted here, this is a sentiment that many, many brides feel as well.) While I assume K and F to be responsible for the recipes for our wonderful food, Minda Metz as event coordinator was behind every other detail that made our wedding so amazing. As Minda is no longer with Knife and Fork, I would not hire Knife and Fork again in the future. I would, however, hire Minda in a heartbeat.Please see my more detailed review under Minda Events.

Minda is simply amazing. We couldn't have had the wedding without her. Not only did she provide some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted, but she held my hand throughout the whole process, helping me with every detail from the color of the tablecloths, to the design of the place cards, to the actual menu for the day. Minda provides way more than just catering services -- she will make your wedding beautiful and run so smoothly that there's nothing for you to worry about! We couldn't be more happy with our selection of a caterer. Thank you, Minda, for all of your help!!

The Knife and Fork knows food and they know catering. They were very very good at putting together a menu that made all of the key parties happy and also came out fresh, delicious, and consistent on the day of our wedding. Cooking for large groups is not easy but they make it look like it is. I think that they contributed greatly to making everything a success and I have no doubts that we picked the best.

Minda was fabulous from the beginning. She came highly recommended from our vendor so we started looking into her. We talked to her briefly the first time we met about what our vision was and what type of menu we were looking into. We had told her that we were looking for a sit down but something light (the wedding was a Sunday afternoon and we werenÂ’t looking for filet minion and crab cakes). As we were going over the menu, I was looking at the pictures and found one of them cedar planking the salmon at our venue. I donÂ’t like salmon, but I like good food pictures. We went with that and chicken and completed the menu. Then we went in for an official tasting. Oh my goodness the food was wonderful! It was an absolute perfect fit with us. The best part of this, is that when the wedding rolled around, the food that was delivered to 140 people, was the same food, taste, and consistency that was delivered when there were only 3 of us tasting. That was one of the things that we got compliments on from our guests.

This caterer took on the role of wedding planner and allowed us to relax about all of the details we had to keep track of. Consequently the event ran very smoothly and we could relax and enjoy it. To cap it off, the food was excellent.

Minda was an absolute pleasure to work with. Knife and Fork provided everything we asked for and more. Minda and I emailed back and forth something more than ten times in a day. It never took her longer than a day to respond, and she usually responded within the hour. Our wedding was perfect because of Knife and Fork. They were so much more than a caterer. Minda helped us pick out the decor and gave us ideas when we were stuck. The food was AMAZING! We had a vegetarian wedding (no meat, but eggs and dairy) and my mom initially wondered if the guests would starve with a vegetarian menu. But every single guest said the food was great, even our "meat and potatoes" cousins. Minda designed a seasonal menu for us and used local foods where she could, which was very important to us. Our wedding was at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, and Knife and Fork made it even more magical than we could have imagined!

Minda and everyone at Knife and Fork are awesome. They are so responsive and helpful. If you want your wedding to run smoothly and not worry about the details on the day you get married go with Minda. Not only do you get wonderful food that actually tastes great you get an event that is run professionally and smoothly. I can't say enough good things about Knife and Fork they are the BEST and I have been to many weddings. Don't bother looking around Knife and Fork are the caterers to use! I highly recommend Knife and Fork Caterers!

We worked with Minda Metz from Knife & Fork Catering Company and LOVED her! She was an absolute pleasure to work with and was an amazing combination of competence and kindness. This being the first wedding that my family and I had planned, we were looking for a caterer who would guide us through the process--Minda really went above and beyond in her willingness to answer all our questions, design a fantastic menu, and pull the whole wedding together. She was the perfect balance of knowledgable advice and openness to our needs and desires. The wedding was an incredible success--I would even say "perfect"--largely because of Minda. My husband and I actually enjoyed the wedding! We trusted everything to her and her company--we had very high expectations for the big day and were not dissapointed in the least! She thought of tiny details that really make a wedding memorable that would not have even crossed my mind. The food at the wedding was delicious--we got many compliments from the guests saying that it was the best wedding food they'd tasted. They also graciously accomodated all the food restrictions of our guests. I really cannot say enough or thank Minda enough for the excellent job that Knife & Fork did catering our wedding. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any event.

Minda Metz of Knife and Fork Caterers along with her entire staff were absolutely amazing. From the first phone call to midnight of our wedding day, she was perfect in every way. She was creative and insightful and knew our venue so well that it seemed like old hat to her, but she still made it magical for us. Every detail was well thought out and executed perfectly from the table linens and flower petal details, to the welcome table full of name cards and invitation presentation, to the chairs and the matching china. And then, to talk about the food...we have gotten so many compliments on our wedding and everyone said it was the best food they have ever had at any wedding and the Atrium looked stunning. Above all, Minda was an absolute joy to work with in every way. She was professional and respectful, but down-to-earth, realistic, and assertive where we were hesitant. We felt like we were so incredibly lucky to find her and our wedding pictures show in every way how we were blessed to have Knife and Fork as our caterers. I would highly recommend this company to any bride and groom looking for a stress-free and joyful wedding planning experience!

My husband and I had only the best experience with Knife and Fork. I liked Minda, the owner, from the moment I spoke to her to schedule an appointment. She is extremely professional, listened to what we wanted, and made great recommendations which proved to make the wedding truly wonderful. She knows what looks good and we trusted her with her suggestions. Her staff is top notch. They went out of their way to accommodate our every need and again, very professional. Minda ensured that everything flowed/transitioned smoothly. The dining area was set up beautifully. And of course, we can't say enough about the food. Absolutely fabulous!! She incorporated dishes that went with our Fall wedding and even included a taste of my Salvadoran background with one of the appetizers. It was a huge surprise for my side of the family. Small touches like that go a long way and truly appreciated. Seven months later, we're still hearing from our friends and family about how wonderful the food was. We highly recommend Knife & Fork.

We had a beautifully catered vegetarian wedding. Minda was a pleasure to work with, she had everything covered. The food was outstanding, our guests talked about it for months. We would highly recommend to all.

Knife and Fork caterers provided absolutely delicious food and exceptional service for our outdoor wedding at our home. Minda and her team are highly professional but are able to put guests at ease and make sure that everyone is taken care of, without exception. Minda acted almost like a wedding coordinator for us. She handled the ordering of the tables, chairs, linens, tableware, etc... as well as the fantastic menu. She also was able to recommend a tent vendor and florist that we were very happy with. I would highly recommend Knife and Fork for a wedding or any other event that requires catering for that matter. We were so pleased!!!!!!

We are so glad we chose Knife and Fork for our September 4th wedding at Meadowlark. Dalia Schulman was a joy to work with and really made our wedding vision a reality. She went above and beyond the duties of a traditional caterer, serving as our day of coordinator as well (even running our rehearsal the evening before!), and she made sure the site was set up beautifully. The food was fantastic-- we had numerous compliments during and after the wedding regarding the quality (and quantity) of the food served. We were very pleased with Knife and Fork and would recommend them to anyone looking for yummy food and personal attention.

Recommended by a friend who said they were the only way to go, they certainly did not dissappoint. The food was both delicious and exsquisite, and they had a great list of dishes to choose from. Staff was cleanly, helpful and seemed proffessional, you most definetely can't go wrong.

Knife and Fork provided an excellent service. I was completely confident that everything would be great after first meeting with Minda. Minda made sure that everything moved along smoothly and when we ran out of beer she sent her workers on a beer run! The food and the presentation was incredible. Just about everyone at the wedding came up to my husband and me and said that the crab cakes were the best they ever had. From start to finish Knife and Fork did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone.
