From the time my husband and I met Michael we felt comfortable that he was the right choice for our wedding. We did an engagement session with him. Due to bad weather, it was postponed numerous times but Michael was flexible and they turned out great! During the wedding he did a great job despite my blinking husband! The pictures look awesome and everyone is pleased by them! He is very reasonably priced for what he gives you! I would recommend Michael to anyone!

I used Michael Kulik's photography services for my wedding in 1994, as did my middle sister and we absolutely LOVED him! He has a winning personality, is very personable and captures the BEST scenes of the wedding. He ensures that the bride and groom circulate the room to be casually and candidly photographed with all of the guests in a way that just feels sociable and smooth, and all of my guests commented that I made the time to visit and speak with each of them! (Thanks Michael!) My wedding photos were absolutely priceless, I couldn't have asked for anything better. He was flexible and creative, willing to travel a bit from the venue, to take some gorgeous shots against the fall foliage, by a watermill and endlessly patient with all of my variety of requests to have this relative and that relative included in various groupings. He happily went along with anything I requested, throwing in his own suggestions that we fabulous. He recently photographed my baby sister's wedding and he was just as charming, professional and skillful as I remembered when he photographed my wedding. The creative poses he arranged for my baby sister's wedding party and family members were beautiful! I cannot wait to see the finished photos! Michael was only the first photographer we met with but we ended up cancelling several meetings with other potential photographers, because we knew he was perfect. Michael has a very laid-back and easygoing personality, but he clearly takes his work very seriously. His prices were better than almost anyone else we found, and the photos turned out great. He even threw in an engagement session for very little extra.On the day of our wedding, it ended up pouring. We had planned on taking all of our photos outdoors. Michael was flexible and he was willing to do whatever he could to make the day perfect. We ended up taking most of our formal shots indoors and then Michael and several of the bridal party trooped outside. Though we got soaked, the photos turned out amazingly, thanks to Michael's great skills. We were so glad he was willing to stand in the pouring rain for us! Michael has a great sense of humor which put us both at ease and made the photo sessions fun. He was great at keeping us moving through the entire reception so we could see everyone and have time to enjoy it. He even gave us the idea of the Anniversary Dance that went over very well. Michael was always prompt and very responsive to every question, big and small. He knows his stuff and was a lot of fun to work with. If you're deliberating between Michael and anyone else, go with Michael, you won't be disappointed.

Michael was fantastic! I could not ask for a better photograper. I really liked the fact that he still gives out good ole fashioned 4x6 prints and not just a cd like all of the other photographers we sifted through. He showed up early and took charge and it really helped take the stress off of us. We've been able to look at all of our photos and we love them all! Thanks Michael!

Mike has been a pleasure to deal with. The wedding party got stuck in traffic before the ceremony, Mike took it in stride. He was able to be flexible and get great pictures without the luxury of time. Thanks Mike.

Michael aims to perfectly capture your event. After our wedding we had a large group of people who had to be organized into different sets for group shots. He did a tremendous job of getting them organized and, even more amazing, getting them all to smile. He has excellent endurance and a passion to get the best possible shots of your event as possible. He has an eye for creative posed shots with his 25+ years experience. Michael strives to understand and meet the expressed needs of his clients. He also provides helpful suggestions of poses you may not have considered. We were very pleased with the quality of his work and the photos he delivered.

He has an extreme knowledge of the local area and we were able to our photo session in DC with virtually no tourist impact. He is extremely professional and, bluntly, darn good at what he does. He captured our formal and candid moments while making us feel at ease all the while. Mr. Kulik is also extremely reasonable - our return on investment was tremendous.I have recommended to a couple of friends/co-workers already and suggest you book ASAP!!

Michael did a wonderful job photographing our son's wedding. Our son is an accomplished amateur photographer so he knew what he wanted. Michael delivered every picture on the list and came through with excellent results.

Michael Kulik photographed my daughter's engagement pictures, wedding, and Rehearsal Luncheon photos. The engagement photos were fabulous and extremely reasonable. Michael took a ton of pictures that morning in his lovely back yard which is magnificently landscaped. You can read my previous review regarding the May 27th rehearsal luncheon. Those pictures were gorgeous. He is discreet while he takes his shots. There were many photos that I had no clue that he had taken. Now for the wedding day-- Michael listened, he heard, and he performed everything we asked for and then some. Let me say that the wedding couple was very picky and somewhat demanding. However, Michael, the professional that he is met all and I mean ALL of their demands. Here is an unrelated story: My eldest daughter was married and we had a horrible photographer, NOT Michael. I explained to Michael that it had been 32 years since a picture was taken with myself and my own 4 siblings. Michael took this photo for me and it is LOVELY. I am so grateful to him that we have this photo to cherish of my own brother and 3 sisters! We now have an album that will be fantastic to share for years and years to come He is a professional and makes super quality pictures. HE WAS AMAZING! A bride would be a fool not to hire Michael! Hopefully, he will be available for you, but don't drag your feet in nailing your date. I nearly missed having him do our wedding pictures by 45 minutes...actually, he had to forego a couple of weddings on May 28th because we were lucky enough to call him just in time to photograph our wedding for May 28th. He is the very best at what he does. Brides hire Michael Kulik. Also, he is very reasonable for what he gives you, great quality and quantity of shots. Jeanne--a very very happy mother of the bride!

Michael did the wedding photos for my daughters wedding this past May 2011. I am beyond pleased with the final product!! The photos are beautiful, clear and professional. He was a pleasure to work with and from the moment we had our initial meeting with him I had a good feeling about him. On the wedding day he was there early and took photos from the beginning to end; to include the getting ready part. These are photos that will be cherished for a lifetime. Also, Michael includes numerous prints in his package; and this is mostly unheard of now with vendors only wanting to give you a CD and you still have to pay to get the photos printed! The wedding day is a one time event; there are no "do overs" -- Michael was professional, kept the momentum and schedule flowing, and delivered on beautiful photos -- that is everything I wanted on this special day. Michaelk was professional and went above and beyond before, during and after the wedding. He knew what shots he needed to get and how to get them. He was willing to take charge of scene to ensure lillte would interfere with his mission. I have nothing critical to say about him or his work. I reviewed many vendors before choosing him and he appeared to have the best deal - and I was thankful to see there were no "surprises" or hidden charges/fees to find out about after the wedding.

Kulik Photo was the best choice for our wedding photography! Michael Kulik delivered wonderful pictures of our ceremony and reception. All guests loved him because he put everyone at ease and at the same time brought the best out of everyone. Michael took several extra shots that were not part of the contract and that are ours now to enjoy.
