Le Mariee' Makeup

I do not have enough awesome things to say about Lori. First off, let me say that I was totally unsure about whether or not to do my own makeup/have my bridesmaids do it/ pay the money to have someone come do it. In the end I decided that it wasn't worth the stress so I decided to find someone to do it for me. Ladies, don't do it on your own, it isn't worth it!Lori was completely phenomenal. I had the flu on my wedding day (including horrible black eyes) and Lori made me look as if I was in perfect health. I had no idea what type of look I wanted, and Lori was totally ok with that. We decided to go with airbrush and it blew my mind. She also let me experiment with some false lashes but in the end I decided to forgo those.Everyone told me how radiant I looked and the make up stayed in place ALL NIGHT, so the make up was a total success. Even my eye liner (which usually ends up under my eyes) stayed in place. If you decide to have your make up done (and I really whole heartedly suggest that you do) try to get Lori!

Lori was AMAZING! She was extremely flexible and immediately replied to all of my e-mails!! She gave me and each of my girls a lip color for the evening! I had to be talked into the lashes.. but sometimes you gotta listen to the professional!

Lori from Le Mariee Makeup did an absolutely fantastic job on my wedding day makeup! Wedding makeup for me was a huge factor in my planning because I am quite experienced with my own makeup and I know what I look best in. After reading rave reviews and viewing gorgeous example pictures I decided to give Le Mariee a try.From the very beginning, Lori was almost instant with returning emails on inquiries and setting up a trial. I coordinated my trial with my bachelorette party so I could test the durability and look of the makeup. I had a some acne and scarring on my cheeks and my skin was drying through overuse of products. Lori used concealers and the airbrush foundation to make my skin look flawless! It was like the redness and uneven tone completely disappeared. My makeup also stayed on all night through sweating and dancing.When it came time for my wedding makeup (even though I loved the trial makeup) I completely changed my mind on coloring and styles for my big day. Lori was amazing in addressing my concerns and she came up with the perfect combination of colors to match my ideas. After I said I loved her lip color, she even gave me her personal brand new lipgloss out of her purse to keep for touch ups all night. My wedding makeup looked absolutely amazing and photographed very well. I had my makeup done at 1:30pm for an evening wedding, and literally when I woke up the next morning my makeup still looked good enough to go to breakfast. Lori even took the time voluntarily to fix the foundation of my maid of honor who had gotten her makeup done elsewhere to make sure she looked ok.Not to mention it was raining, sleeting, and snowing and Lori still showed up for my makeup EARLY even though it took her about a 2 hour commute! I cannot recommend Lori with Le Mariee Makeup enough! She may seem a bit pricey, but it is absolutely worth it for your wedding day to look your absolute best. Better to pay a bit more for high quality than pay less and regret it later!

Lori did such an amazing job on my bridal make-up and was able to bring an assistant to help do 10 bridesmaids and 2 moms all within about 4 hours! Everyone's make-up looked absolutely stunning and not a single one of us was disappointed with her work. In fact, one of my bridesmaids booked her right then and there for her own wedding! Lori definitely has the skill, experience and expertise to make any bride look flawless while still encouraging brides to keep within their own style and vision of what they want.

Lori was absolutely great to work with, and she is an amazing and experienced makeup artist. I have had my makeup done as a bridesmaid for several weddings, but I personally think she is the best makeup artist out there! She is very flexible, responds to emails within minutes (!!), and listens to you, but is not afraid to make suggestions - and they're almost always right on! She is also not tied to one makeup brand, as many makeup artists are, which I think is a good thing, since it opens up so many more options. In a nutshell, Lori did a great job for our wedding. She even made my hard-to-please mom happy and look like a million dollars!

Lori provided airbrush makeup services for my 10/2/11 wedding. She did an amazing job, arrived early, was professional and most importantly, made me feel and look like a truly beautiful bride. I received so many compliments and my makeup was flawless and stayed all day and night. Lori is also very sweet and very easy to work with.I am a bride that no longer wears makeup on a regular basis, so I was very concerned about airbrush and looking too made-up or fake. I had an airbrush makeup trial with a different company prior to finding Lori. The trial with the other company ended very badly, and the makeup was horrible, heavy, cakey and the wrong color. I thought I would have to do my own makeup for my wedding. Thank goodness my hair stylist, Julie Flury of Jewel Hair Design highly recommend I talk to Lori. I booked a trial with Lori. I told her my concerns and asked many questions. The trial went very well and she was so patient and listened to me, always putting me at ease. I emailed her questions while I was trying to find the perfect lipstick color and she was so helpful and always quick to respond. She was very professional and on-point on the morning of my wedding. She listened to my feedback from the trial and perfected my makeup look. My husband was so impressed, he (and everyone else) said I still looked like myself, the makeup never detracted or was heavy and I looked stunning. She enhanced my best features and from the pictures I have seen so far, her makeup photographs very well. My makeup felt and looked great all day and night. I am so, so glad I found Lori and did not try to do my own makeup! She showed me that airbrush makeup can work for anyone and is so appropriate for a wedding!

Lori Nansi was AWESOME to work with! She was very responsive and patient when I asked her a lot of questions about the makeup she uses. She was very flexible and professional - especially when my mom did not decide until the last minute to get her makeup done. Lori also listened to me (and my mom) about the way we wanted to look and was very open to any concerns that we had. She made us look FABULOUS. I did not look overly made up - I just looked like a better version of myself. I have never felt more beautiful. I would highly recommend her to a friend for a wedding or special event!

Lori was amazing to work with and made me feel beautiful on our wedding day!! After having bad experiences with some mac makeup artists I was hesitant to spend the money to find someone else to do my makeup for our wedding but im so glad I hired Lori! She was extremely professional and answered any questions I had immediately. She was also fun to work with on our wedding day and helped me stay calm amid the chaos. Most importantly she did beautiful work. I would have her do my makeup again in a heartbeat.

Words cant begin to describe how AMAZING Lori is - you will have to experience her services and find out for yourself!! From the moment we started talking about booking her services for my wedding she has been the true professional. Whats more so, she is the most prompt person you will ever meet! She answered every single one of my emails within minutes - and for us busy brides you cant even imagine how wonderful that is! Then to top it all off, she is the most talented woman in the make up industry! That I can guarantee you!! She will work with you to get your perfect look but wont push you to try something that isnt you. Trust me when I tell you - book an appointment with Lori...you will be blown away by her! I'm so happy I did, because I looked amazing on my wedding and a HUGE part of it was due to her :)

Lori, you were just amazing! You made me feel so comfortable and relaxed and SO SO beautiful on my wedding day. Thank you for being so reliable and flexible with the scheduling and multiple venues. You made all the girls feel so special; you took your time; and most of all, your skills as a makeup artist made us all feel so confident on our special day. Ladies,With Lori you are in great hands! She is truly the best! I had a two-day wedding in different locations (within the DC area). Lori came out to both locations, was able to move her schedule around to accommodate me and my bridal party. Lori has done a fabulous job and I highly recommend her.

Lori is amazing! I found her the month of my wedding after I went through a disastrous trial with another makeup artist. I was really lucky that she was free that day bc she gets booked pretty quickly. She's very easy going, patient, really funny, and great at what she does. You won't be disappointed! My brother who always makes fun of me, actually complimented me on the day of my wedding. Her airbrushing makeup lasted all day, even through Hurricane Irene!

Lori was an exceptional makeup artist! She took her time, had suggestions and followed exactly what I asked for. She also was very personable and punctual for my wedding morning! Made me feel absolutely beautiful!

I cannot recommend Lori's services highly enough! She responded to all my e-mails so quickly and was flexible with my hectic schedule. When I had my make up trial I knew as soon as I saw my "face" that I wanted her to do my make up for the wedding. I appreciated how she explained what she was doing and the rationale behind it. Lori is so fun to work with and she is so talented! I cannot not even count how many people told me how good my make-up looked on the wedding day! I felt so beautiful! I had a long wedding day so it was important for me that my make-up did not budge-which it didn't move a bit. Lori also did my mother's make-up for the wedding and she did a fantastic job! She has a great talent of making you look like "the best version of yourself". I hope I can work with Lori again in the future. PLEASE do yourself a favor and book her- you will NOT be disappointed!

Lori was an AMAZING makeup artist. She was really able to work with me and my mom, as my mom was very picky about my makeup. I also LOVE that she responds so fast to all her emails! As a bride, that's pretty important and not something that all vendors will do for you! I used my engagement party as my trial and while the makeup was beautiful, it was a little dramatic for my taste (but that was no fault of Lori's, as that's what we'd asked for). But that's why you have a trial...on the wedding day, it was absolutely perfect. AND she was able to do my makeup in a way that it matched by wedding and reception outfit, so I didn't have to change my makeup in between. When Lori came for the wedding, she did bring an assistant, and while she was REALLY nice, I felt like she didn't have the skill that Lori has. My sister's makeup turned out pretty well, but it was after the assistant did it and then Lori spent a good amount of time fixing it. So my advice would be to make sure that it's Lori that will be doing your makeup!

I cannot even begin describe how amazing it was to work with Lori. Finding a great makeup artist was really a top priority in my wedding planning and I booked her pretty early. From the moment I booked her she was extremely responsive and answered any questions I had. My trial went great and I booked her on the spot. On my wedding day she was just as amazing. Everyone in my bridal party loved their makeup and our makeup looked great throughout the entire wedding. I highly reccommend getting airbrushed. She was right on schedule with everyone and was even able to squeeze a last minute person in for me. Aside from her talent with makeup, Lori is super friendly and such a genuinely nice person : ) Book her!

I feel lucky that I was referred to Lori and she happened to have our wedding date available. At our trial, Lori reviewed my inspiration pictures and asked lots of questions about what I wanted. She carefully explained the products and techniques she used during the trial, and took detailed notes on how to recreate the look (along with any little tweaks) on the wedding day. When our wedding day arrived, Lori showed up early to do makeup for me, my mom, and three bridesmaids. Lori easily addressed all of my mom’s concerns about looking too “done” and made her look glowing, beautiful, and natural. My sister-in-law had never worn makeup before and was so nervous about it, and Lori made sure she was completely comfortable…sis-in-law looked gorgeous and happy. My other two bridesmaids knew what they wanted and went for dramatic eyes, false eyelashes, the works. One bridesmaid said she felt prettier than on her own wedding day! As for my makeup, Lori created a romantic look with shimmery defined eyes. She had to convince me to go for the dramatic false lashes and I’m so glad she did – they really make eyes pop in pictures. Listen to her when she pushes them! It’s important to note that our wedding day was 100 degrees and Lori absolutely insisted on airbrush for everyone to ensure we didn’t melt during the ceremony. It was obvious her main objective was that we were happy with her work – we were a seriously sweaty gang by the time the ceremony was over but our makeup was sweatproof! Back at the hotel at the end of the night I was shocked to see my makeup still looked fresh. From start to finish our experience with Lori was awesome: not only was she responsive and kind during the planning process and day of, but I really feel everyone’s makeup was about as perfect as possible. I had started out thinking that makeup was an unnecessary expense, but we all agreed that Lori was worth every penny.

Lori is awesome. I found her on Wedding Wire from all of the previous reviews. We did a trial at her house in North Potomac. She took a girl that never wears makeup to a girl that cant wait to get fancied up again. You should have seen the before/after pics. I looked good!The day of the wedding, Lori came to to my apartment with her assistant. They makeup-ed three of us in about two hours. We applied it at 10 am and it lasted until I washed it off at 5 am.I cant say enough good things about Lori. I will be going back again for the next fancy occasion.
