Prime Transportation

We actually used Prime Transportation for my bachelorette party and for the wedding and the service was wonderful. Our driver for the bachelorette Chris was wonderful- we used one of the new buses and it was amazing! On the wedding day we had both a shuttle and a bus pick our guest up from the hotel and take them to the ceremony/reception location. The transportation was on time and in great condition. We felt that the service, price and professionalism of prime transportation made it the best company for us to work with. I would recommend Prime Transportation to anyone. The customer service from start to finish was wonderful and bus/shuttles were in great condition. I wish we had enough in the budget for an old time car because they had some really nice ones to pick from. Thank you prime for making me not worry about my guest getting to the wedding on time and making sure everyone got home safe!

Prime Transportation turned out to be a TERRIBLE vendor. They were responsive and helpful on the phone when we were making arrangements, and I selected this vendor because they specialize in handling weddings. I talked with the company rep 2 times during the week before the wedding to make sure they understood the exact arrangements. I arranged for 2 shuttle buses to pick up guests at 2 different hotels, bring them to the wedding and reception, and then return them to their hotels after the reception. I also arranged for one of the shuttles to take the guests from the wedding to the reception, and then return to the church to pick up the bridal party after the post-ceremony photo shoot. The shuttle bus was a NO SHOW for the bridal party! We had to cram all of the bridal party into a few available cars at the church and drive to the reception ourselves. Prime's negligence forced my husband and me to miss the first hour of our own wedding reception. When we got to the reception, the shuttle bus was sitting in the parking lot with the driver inside chatting on his cell phone. He said he had no instructions to return to the church to pick up the bridal party. After the wedding, I heard complaints from some of my wedding guests about the service they received. One bus was assigned to pick up 2 families with babies in child safety seats. The mothers complained that the driver pulled the bus into traffic before they had a chance to strap in their babies, and one toddler almost fell out of her seat. After the reception was over, the other bus, which had delivered about 35 guests to the reception, left the reception to go back to the hotels with only about 6 passengers on board, leaving the other 29 or so stranded at the reception at midnight. Someone in the group called the company dispatcher. She sent the bus back to the reception to retrieve the rest of the guests, but they had to wait in a parking lot for about 30 minutes. The only reason why I am giving this company 1 star is because we also arranged for the 1941 Cadillac limo to take my husband and me from the reception to our hotel. This was the only part of our arrangement that worked, and it was very nice. The driver was polite, and gave us a little "tour" of downtown Washington before delivering us to our hotel. When I requested a refund of my $2300 fee (or at least the portion that covered the buses), Prime Transportation offered to refund a whopping $300, which is the equivalent to the gratuity they padded into the price! I am mad enough about this to be considering filing a lawsuit in small claims court. I think I have a good case. Unless you don't mind getting stranded, or having your guests stranded, on your wedding day, DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR.

The people at Prime were great! Their prices were better than anyone's in the area and TOM is the greatest, sweetest, most thoughtful guy you could ever want as your driver. When we visited their lot to choose a car, he gave my husband and I a detailed tour of the vehicles and included lots of information about each car, which helped our decision greatly. They were punctual and pleasant to work with and I would certainly hire them again!

great company to work with! we were able to rent a 1943 Cadillac for our get away car! it was the perfect ending to our wedding day. the driver was very friendly and worked with the photographer so we could capture photos of us leaving the reception!

HORRIBLE company!!!! The only reason they get ONE star is because BEFORE I signed the contract they were great...once they had my money it went to hell. ON my wedding day the car was 15 minutes late before I called to find out what was going on, the dispatcher didnt know, the driver never called anyone that he was PARKED in PLANNED traffic. There had been major road work advertised for weeks to be happening on my wedding day, the company that has their only business as DIRVING did not plan. 15 mins after he should have been at my door, he was over an hour away. I had to throw my dress in my trunk and drive to my wedding, making me 25 mins late to walk down the aisle- never mind the 45 mins of photography wasted. THEN he gets LOST going to my reception- another 25 mins late there. I paid for 5 hours, got 40 mins, and lost over an hour of my photo, reception, etc. the company at first was sooooo sorry and said I would get that refund since it was their fault, after 2 months nothing. They finally agreed to HALF a refund. Once they agreed to half the refund, it was supposed to be processed that week. A MONTH LATER I called and found out it had been "lost" in paperwork and never got processed...whoops! bottom line: this company RUINED MY WEDDING DAY. I was late to everything, I lost an hour of my reception and had to rush and cut countless things planned in order to fit everything into my wedding day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!!

We reserved the 1941 Cadillac and a 3 hours DC Monument Tour after our wedding. Our driver was great. He was very friendly and even offered to take pictures of us at the stops. It was nice to just sit back and relax after all the festivities. It was a lot of fun and I recommend others giving it a try.

Excellent! Anne at Prime Transportation was incredible to work with- we spent over an hour on the phone talking through the day's activities so that she could ensure that we had all of our transportation needs covered. She gave me some great advice on how to organize the activities and made sure we had adequate coverage without paying for something we didn't need. On the day of the wedding, our vehicles were all on time and ready to go (even when we weren't!) and they surprised us by upgrading our 'getaway' car from a sedan to a limo. I highly recommend working with Prime Transportation.

Prime transportation did a perfect job as the transportation vendor for our wedding. I wasn't going to get a limo and literally 10 days before the wedding decided I should get one. Prime was there almost an hour early waiting for me in the driveway. They were super professional and it just made getting to the ceremony so hassle free and easy. I would highly recommend Prime.

We were quite pleased with Prime Transportation. The drivers were very professional and nice. They showed up early and were good drivers. The staff who we worked with to set up the transportation service were also very helpful. The only problem we had was that the drivers had not-so-gerat directions to the chapel, and we got a bit lost for a few minutes. but I was able to guide the drivers to our chapel, and all was fine.

I highly recommend Prime Transportation. We had 3 different buses and one limo with fairly involved schedules and there was not one problem. The drivers were all very courteous and knew exactly what to do and where to be. Everyone I dealt with in the office was also very professional. I give them 3 1/2 stars for responsiveness because after I sent in the initial deposit I did not hear back from them with a confirmation. I had to call a couple of times to confirm. But, after that I had no problem getting a hold of them and they quickly sent me email confirmations after I had to make a few changes. I definitely recommend.

The shuttles were on time and everything ran extremely smoothly. Highly recommended transportation provider!!!

The shuttle did not go back and forth and half of our guests never made it to the cocktail hour. It was terrible and the company has not been willing to give us any money back as of yet. We are taking it to the senior manager.

I was pleased with their service, which was a minibus to take our guests to and from the hotel to the ceremony/reception site. I had a little bit of a problem with them charging the wrong credit card and refusing to change it afterwards (I had opened up a special low-interest card just for wedding expenses, and they didnt ask which card to charge the final bill to, and used another card I had placed a deposit on 6 months earlier) but that was the only glitch. The service itself was great.

Prime did a very good job, especially compared to the other company we used for transportation. We had a large limo that transported my fiance and his family, then me and my family, to the Meridian. Apparently the driver was late picking up my fiance (the first stop), but he was early picking me up so it didn't affect the timing of the day at all. The driver was so nice, helped me get in and out of the limo in my dress (easier said than done I learned). We had the same driver take us back to the hotel after the wedding, and he was early then as well. The cars were very clean and in excellent condition. Very professional, I would definitely use them again.

It's a shame. I thought Prime was going to be my most reliable vendor but I was wrong. My inital contact with them was great. And they worked with me on prices and schedules. While all transportation was on time to the ceremony, the two buses I reserved for my guests were over 20 minutes late to the church to pick them up after the ceremony. My Point of Contact for the called the day of the wedding to see where the buses were. They gave her incorrect information and kept blowing her off, to the point where they stopped taking her phone calls. The bus operator, when he arrived, told her to tell me to be in touch with the company because they erred and I should receive some compensation. It's been almost 5 months after my wedding, and I have only received one follow-up phone call from Prime. They have no professionalism with regards to customer service or follow-up. I left numerous voicemails and emails and if it weren't for me being persistent, I would not have heard back. If they handled the situation respecfully, I would have given them a better rating. But they failed in that regard. I didn't even care so much about the compensation as much as I did being treated respectfully. We both signed a contract and they didn't fulfill their end of the bargain.

They handled things very well, arrived on time and everything was as expected with getting us to our hotel.

We booked this vendor towards the end of our planning because we weren't sure if we wanted to rent a limo. Instead we rented one of their limo buses and it was great. Lots of room for everyone and very nice. They arrived on time and shuttled us to our different locations.

The limo was great and the driver was fabulous. He knew how to get a huge wedding dress in and out of the limo. He made multiple runs very efficiently.

We had a contract for one vehicle - and the day of the wedding they showed up with a bus. I was livid - the driver had no idea what was going on - and when he tried to get the person at the office to talk with me - she was EXTREMELY rude and proceeded to tell me that it wasn't her fault or problem and she couldn't guarantee that it would be fixed. After a family member spent the entire ceremony on the phone - they brought a limo - albeit too small - and my bridal party had to pile in. I've been in conversations with the so-called manager ever since demanding a refund. He promised me one - and now, 2 months after our wedding - he still hasn't sent it. My husband and I call several times a week - generally never getting an answer. And when we do get the "manager" he always has another excuse or story. This week he told us that he refunded our credit card - funny - we never gave him one - we paid by check. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
