Pamela Lepold Photography

Pamela photographed our wedding less than one month ago. The results were amazing! She captured all of the important moments but so many more with her classic and beautiful style. To say she exceeded our expectations would be a major understatement. The best part is I hardly remember her being there! She is easily one of the most professional photographers in DC. And her processing time was unbelievable - we were still on our honeymoon when she got us the results. We couldn't put a price on our wedding photos - which we will cherish forever!

Pamela is such a talented photographer. She met with us prior to the wedding to discuss what we liked about our venue location and the area around it. Then she scouted out places to take photos after the ceremony in advance and sent us a comprehensive roundup of her thoughts. It really made us feel part of the creative process. Our wedding day turned out to be the only day in October to have snow in VA, but that didn't phase Pamela. She adjusted our plan and ended up producing gorgeous pictures that we might not have gotten had she not been so quick on her feet and creative. She brings a fine arts eye to this part of the wedding process and we could not be happier with the end results!

Having a great photographer was one of our priorities. Immediately after meeting Pamela we knew that she was exactly what we were looking for. We loved her style and how her pictures were really unique, and not just the standard cookie-cutter wedding pictures. We shared her view that a photographer should capture all the important moments without being the center of attention. I didn't see her or her assistant at all during the ceremony but the pictures came out great. She kept everything on schedule and got all of the special pictures we requested. We were also very impressed with how she scouted out our location beforehand and knew exactly where to go to get some great shots with my husband and I alone and with our bridal party.After the wedding, she was so fast getting all of our pictures online for us that we got to look at them while we were still on our honeymoon. We really couldn't have been happier working with Pamela. Although it was on the high end of what we wanted to pay for a photographer, we were very happy with the value we got for the money and think it was well worth the cost.

I had the privilege of being able to have an amazing photographer for my wedding day. Pamela Lepold Photography!! She was prompt, she was patient, and had an amazing eye for what I had envisioned my pictures would be! She was so down to earth and made us laugh the whole time, not to mention very professional. I loved that she was there throughout the whole evening with everyone, I felt like I had known her for years! There cannot be a price put on the value, service, professionalism, and kindness she provided to myself, husband, and family. I will use her again in the near future, as several of my family members have already booked her because they liked her so much! Thank you so much Pamela! You captured my day like no one else could.

We used Pamela for our engagement photos and her work was beautiful! She is very professional but personable as well and helped us create images that best captured our love for one another. She was flexible with us and our outfit changes and paid attention to the details which truly made a difference. We will definitely be using her services again!

Pamela Lepold Photography was so much more than a photographer for our wedding. As a bride there is so much that goes into planning a wedding, but Pamela helped ensure that all of the necessary details were there. She walked me through our big day before we had to actually do it, making sure everything was in place. After giving Pamela a list of my family and wedding party she seemed to know them all by name (and that is no small feat, I have a pretty large family). My favorite example of how Pamela is so much more than a photographer was when I was given the knife to cut the cake and she leaned in to ask if we knew how to cut the cake...of course that was a detail I didn't think about :) Pamela told us how to cut a slice without destroying the entire thing and she saved us from making a mess of our beautiful cake.Now Photography-wise...the pictures were beautiful! I got married during a hurricane so it made taking pictures kind of tricky. Also, because of the craziness of the day we were unable to get to one of our photography sites. Pamela was prepared with several other sites that were probably even more beautiful than our original plan.Pamela has a plan when all plans goes awry! She is so much more than an awesome photographer! I would recommend her to every bride-to-be that I know.Of course I wish that photography was so expensive, but when searching around her prices were reasonable compared to other photographers in the area and like I said...you get so much more than a photographer.

Pamela is a phenomenal photographer. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone and prepare yourself for the most incredible photos from your wedding. She was extremely flexible and gave us above and beyond excellent work! Major thumbs up :)

Pamela did a wonderful job. She met with us ahead of time to see what kind of photos we wanted. She arrived with plenty of time before the ceremony. She was very familiar with the location of the ceremony, so she knew the best places for photos. She had never been to the venue where we had the reception, so she went on her own in the days before the wedding to scout out some good spaces for pictures. She got the photos online with remarkable speed. We were all very impressed with her work.

Pamela was wonderful! She was so calm and patient. When she said she would be "non-obtrusive" she was correct. The groom had said he didn't want a camera "in his face" while getting ready and at the wedding-he was so impressed with Pamela that for many of the pictures he didn't even know she was there. Pamela's experience was very apparent and one of the main comments I got from the guests was how impressed they were with the photographer! For the pictures that involved young children-Pamela knew just what to do to get a good shot of the kids. She also suggested getting pictures at a park after the wedding and she recommended a battlefield that was close by that she had scouted out. Those pictures came out wonderful also and I was so glad she made that recommendation. All in all I would highly recommend Pamela-especially since with wedding pictures you have one "shot" to get them right and by going with Pamela you can be assured of quality pictures that will last a lifetime.

Having Pamela as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding plans. The pictures are absolutely beautiful. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer, but she is such a kind and helpful person. She was readily available by phone, responded immediately to emails, and even met with us on weekends. Having consultations in her studio was very relaxing and stress-free. She also gave us invaluable advice on various aspects of our wedding plans. During our wedding day, Pamela and her colleague Cristina were both there as our photographers, and they interacted very well and respectfully with our guests. Cristina even kindly helped a family of our guests out of a tough spot and helped them get to our reception venue. After the wedding, Pamela had both our online photo gallery and proof album ready for us faster than we could have expected. The proof album is leather bound and beautiful. Thanks Pamela!

Pamela was GREAT! Our engagement was pretty short and we did not have a lot of time to prepare for our wedding just 4 months and she made this experience a great one. We feel very lucky that she could capture our unforgettable moments since the day went so fast. She was totally affordable, work with our special requests, gave us her ideas, and kept the day going excited and encouraging. She stayed later than it was in her contract. I don't think we could have asked for more. Thank you!

Pamela did an amazing job. I actually had two days of weddings, a Persian Ceremony on a Friday and a Church Ceremony on Saturday. Pamela did both events. Her patient and calming demeanor were great for a frazzled bride like myself. She handled all of the family masquerading as photographers very nicely as well. Her photos are so beautiful. We just picked up our proof books last night. My husband and I are amazed at the quality of the photographs that she took. Her work is better than I could have ever dreamed of. She is the utmost professional and I would highly suggest working with Pamela.

Pamela is an exceptional photographer. I did my research and after meeting with a number of photographers, I knew that I shouldn't go with somebody else. The old saying "you get what you pay for" is absolutely true. With Pamela you can expect nothing but the best quality service, pictures, and products. We used her for our engagement session as well as our wedding. My husband is NOT a fan of getting his picture taken, but Pamela was able to get him to loosen up and we have never had better photographs of the two of us together! We couldn't be happier with our choice.

Pamela was absolutely fantastic. I tend to shy away from being in pictures so I was dreading my wedding day. However once I met Pamela I felt so much better. She took fantastic pictures, she was super flexible, constantly kept in touch before the wedding and was a dream to work with. I highly recommend her!

We can't say enough good things about Pamela. Her pictures were beautiful and had so many great and creative ideas for pictures as well as incorporate ideas we had for pictures. She went above and beyond the standard posed family pictures. She was able to accurately and honestly capture the emotion of our wedding.The quality of her pictures were rivaled only by her demeanor. She was a very calming, positive influence on what was a very hectic day. She wasn't pushy or invasive; she always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to capture every aspect of our wedding. Her attitude was always upbeat and positive and was extremely professional, yet always personal and approachable. From our initial email to her asking for a meeting to picking up our proof book (which she had for us 2 weeks after the wedding), she has been so resposive to every question and request we had. She never took more than a few hours to respond, often doing so within minutes. Pamela was well-worth the money we paid for her services and products. She was very flexible with us. Whether it was meeting with us on weekends, responding to email in the evenings, Pamela always catered to our needs. In fact, she even allowed us to change our mind about something we had initially purchased and gave us our money back when we decided we didn't want it.Pamela went above and beyond anything we could have expected to make our perfect; going so far as to even bustle the wedding dress on numerous occasions. Pamela is absolutely wonderful! From the first moment we met with Pamela - we knew we wanted her to be the photographer for our wedding. We felt completely comfortable with her and knew she'd do an excellent job at our wedding.Pamela didn't disappoint! She captured every moment of our special day down to every little detail. Based on Pamela's recommendation - we decided to take pictures before the ceremony so we could enjoy our guests during cocktail hour versus being busy with pictures. It was a great decision because rain set in just before the ceremony. But, Joe and I got an hour and a half of pictures outside prior to the ceremony and they turned out excellent. Pamela walked the entire property before we started pictures, and she took us to such beautiful places for pictures. During the ceremony and reception - we didn't even know Pamela was around but she captured every memory of our wedding.Pamela sent us our wedding pictures on-line within a week of the wedding. We were on our honeymoon in Italy when we got the pictures and couldn't wait to look at all of the pictures she took. She got over 700 great pictures - we still have no idea how we're going to pick out pictures for our wedding album. Pamela also had our proof book ready just two weeks after the wedding. We could not have been happier than we were with Pamela and her photos of our wedding day. She is not only an amazing photographer, but also a great person to work with and to include on your special day. We'd recommend her to everyone!

Our experience with Weddings by Pamela was seamless from the beginning. Pamela talked us through different options and her advise was spot on. The day of was equally seamless, but the best was that we had a lot of fun all along and everything felt effortless. Weddings by Pamela was an integral part of our day and provided us with wonderful photos that are fresh and reflect how much fun we had from beginning to end. Our photos are a delight to look at again and again and again.

We could not be more pleased with our decision to use Pamela as our wedding photographer. Before the wedding, she was extremely well organized. She asked great questions about our preferences and schedule. She also provided very good suggestions. On the day of the wedding, she kept us on schedule and worked hard to get us all the shots and groupings we wanted. She also did a wonderful job of scoping out locations for the pictures at our sites. When we received the photos, we were thrilled. They looked like us, but even better. She did a wonderful job of getting pictures that showed the story of our wedding and capturing the personalities of us and our guests. Her photos were so good that we are having difficulty trying to decide which ones to put in the album. If you decide to hire Pamela as your photographer, you will not be disappointed.

Pamela provides a personal touch that I dont think is easy to find with any photographer. We didnt see her as a vendor at our wedding, we saw her as a guest that we were honored to have at our wedding. We are looking forward having Pamela capture our next big life moment someday!

Pamela was amazing! She has a real talent. We almost never noticed she was there. No idea how she got the shots she got because we didn't see her except when we had the formal shots! She does a perfect blend of formal and journalistic style photos. The day's events were perfectly captured showing the details of our hard planning that made it OUR personalized event. She is friendly, polite, has a great side-kick in tow, met us to learn about us. We hired her for engagement photos which was a great move because my husband and I had the chance to practice posing basically. She captured most of the day with us NOT posing. however, for outdoor shots of us with the bridal party they were formal shots that we posed for and learning to look at the camera was harder than we thought. The "practice" of an engagement session helped. She also learned which was my "good side" so took all good shots on the day of the wedding! Brilliant idea to do. She arrived early, photographed the site, kept us on schedule, she is so organized. She replied to emails so quickly and professionally. Frankly it is expensive BUT all were expensive. She was about $600-800 more than what we going to spend with another person (who happened to be the least expensive person we found) but with her we got 2 photographers AND we got the style of photos we hoped for - the other guy didn't capture the feeling of the moment, the mood, the elegance or caliber of the event like she did in every photo! So with what we'd have spent with the guy (~2600) we would have been sad to spend that much and get so little in comparison so from Pamela we are thrilled that we got much much much more from her AND what i really liked was that she is female. For me to have allowed a photographer in the room as my make-up was being done or my hair or getting my buttons done on the dress, i would NEVER have allowed a man to enter the room much less take photos. She did with very complimentary angles and with modesty that i didn't see from any of the male photographers. Maybe i'm not allowed to say that online but i did see a difference and i do think a women about to marry should not have a man see her partially dressed so this is my modest opinion but something others may agree with and not think of until it is too late. Just want to provide you with food for thought. We met with at least 8 photographers and companies and were so dissapointed we couldn't find THE one, until Pamela. Pamela was PERFECT!
