Ms. Gibbs has performed for hundreds of weddings in numerous popular venues across the region, including: Rose Hill Manor, Whitehall Estate, Belmont Country Club, River Farm, Mount Vernon Inn, and Waterford Receptions.
She is proud to be part of a distinctive lineage begun by the preeminent harpist, composer, and teacher, Carlos Salzedo. The Salzedo approach to harp playing emphasizes the importance of musicality, technical proficiency, aesthetics, and performance: distinguishing characteristics that truly enhance the innate majesty of any wedding.
Diana earned her Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University. She works at the Library of Congress, as the Collections Conservation Section's liaison to the Music Division.
